Sorghum Grain Filling and Dry Down Dynamics for Hybrids Released Over the Past Six Decades in the US

Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) is mainly grown in the Great Plains region of United States, with state Kansas as premier cropland for its cultivation. Over time, improvements sorghum have been related to genetic and management interactions, however, scarcity information on grain filling dry down processes reported. This study characterizes dynamics hybrids different released years. Field trials were conducted during 2018 2019 seasons Kansas, testing 20 commercially available between 1963 2017.
